How to Open Tumblr Account


  Tumblr is the best microblogging tool. It comes in 2007. Here you can upload photos, links, quotes, blogs, etc. You can even play a Tumblr post that was posted to another user's Tumblelog with just a click of the mouse, just like you can retweet content to share on Twitter.
Add on, you may like other people's content on Tumblr instead of posting comments like you would on a traditional blog post.

Steps to Create a Tumblr Account:

1. Go to www.tumblr.com. It will give you an option to register or log in.

2. To create an account, you must provide an email, a password, and a username.

3. Enter your age.

4. Enter your current age in the text field in the center of the page.

5. Check the "I have read ..." box.

6. This indicates that you agree to the terms of use and community guidelines.

7. Skip this step on the mobile device.

8. Click on Next. It is a blue button below the "I have read ..." checkbox.

9. On mobile, tap Next in the upper right corner.

10. Complete the spam check.

11. Click the "I am not a robot" checkbox.

12. Then follow the on-screen instructions.

13. Typically, you will have to choose instances of a specific item (for example, a car) from a series of related images.

14. Once you complete this step, you will automatically go to the next one.

15. Skip this step on mobile.

16. Select interests.

17. One advanced tip is prepared with your short bio to add on Tumblr for later to add into your about section this will help to gain credibility.

18. Click or tap at least 5 content categories you would like to see on your Tumblr page.

19. Then click or tap Next in the upper right corner of the page or screen.

20. Verify your email address.

21. The last step to create your account is to verify your email.

22. If you already have an account, you can log in.

23. To change the default language of your account.

24. Click "Settings" in the account menu at the top of the panel.

25. Update your preferred language in the "Language" section.

26. Once there we will select Spanish and automatically our account will change to that language.
